Saturday April 8 – Wool Felted Easter Eggs

Join Linda and create 6 adorable Easter eggs. Learn this wet felting technique using soap and water. Wrapping a Styrofoam egg with organic wool – beautifully dyed or white, these eggs keep their shape. They are soft, colorful & unbreakable! Perfect for an Easter gift or an heirloom treasure, Linda will have all needed supplies.

If you’ve always wanted to make hypertufa but have been intimidated by the process, this workshop is for you! You’ll create 2 different hypertufa containers. Artist Jane Carney has worked with concrete medium for years and she’ll ensure your project will be perfect for any sedums, or succulents, or to simply use as decoration. Your finished planters will stay and cure for 3 weeks.

Saturday April 29 – Natural Nesting Balls

Join Linda Otto Peeters from Willow Farm while she works with you to make a colorful nesting ball that will attract busy birds into your yard. Using a grapevine ball, carded and dyed wool, locks, scraps and yarn, you’ll create a nesting ball unique to you! Take it home so you can enjoy the birds as they pull bits from it to use in their nests.

Saturday April 29 – Spectacular Succulents!

Choose from over 50 succulent and sedum varieties (both annual and perennial) to create a stunning succulent container dish. The basics of succulent planting and care will be explained and Shelly will demonstrate how to create a beautiful combo with color, texture and proper placement. Workshop includes: 4 succulent plants of your choice, container, soil, filler, nature and top-dressing stone.
