Learn how to make your own soap and leave with 8 to 9 homemade bars the same day! If you have always wanted to learn about what goes into making soap, whether for personal use or to give as gifts, this workshop is for you!
With or without any experience you will learn the fundamentals of soap making using the popular cold-process recipes (using a simple set formula). You will get hands-on experience and learn how to make soap from fats, oils, water and lye. Find out where to get materials, how to work safely with soap making equipment, and create naturally luxurious handcrafted soaps for yourself, family and
Includes all materials and equipment to make 8 to 9 bars of soaps; handouts and other optional ingredients that add color, if desired. Quite a bargain! If you would like to add scent to your soap we encourage you to bring 0.5 – 1 ounce essential oil of your choice.
This course will last about 1 to 2 hours depending on size of the class.
Materials Needed: Old long sleeve shirt, 1 quart size milk or cream carton (if you do not have this, we will supply you with our rectangle cardboard mold of the same size).
