Meet Graziano Gardens
After 2 decades in the landscape design, maintenance and garden center business, Graziano Gardens has transitioned its focus to the online daylily business and the annual Daylily Dazzle sales event. Today, Shelly Christie and her small team focus on growing and selling daylily cultivars primarily hybridized by renowned breeder, Dr. Darrel Apps.
Situated on a charming 40-acre farm site, many display and trial gardens surround the greenhouse showcasing winning perennial combinations and mixed borders. Designated as a nationally approved American Daylily Society Display Garden, the gardens boast hundreds of daylilies!
Note: An American Daylily Society Display Garden is established to display the very best daylily cultivars to the general public. Its purpose is to educate the visitor about modern daylilies and how they can be used effectively in landscapes. In an approved display garden, a visitor can view a large number and wide variety of labeled daylilies in a well-maintained garden setting.

Graziano Gardens is honored to grow and distribute daylilies hybridized by renowned breeder, Dr. Darrel Apps. Hundreds of daylily cultivars are grown in the landscape and available nowhere else in the country. Darrel’s recent national introductions are available to purchase through mail order or at the nursery.
Daylily Dazzle
Join us for our annual Daylily Dazzle event celebrated in July. Graziano’s passion is for gardeners and non-gardeners alike to come enjoy the tranquil oasis we’ve created on a 40 acre country site. This is a fun-filled day of daylily gazing, garden walking, and daylily talking! Hundreds of daylilies, perennials, art and statuary fill the gardens for all to enjoy. Graziano Gardens History
Since a very young age, Shelly Christie has had a special love for nature and growing things with her mom and grandma at her side. She didn’t realize how big of a role it would play during her adult life. After 10 years in the corporate world as a marketing professional, she turned her passion for gardening into a new career.
When Shelly started tending gardens for others, she realized there was a need in the landscaping arena not only for customized fine design, but also for the understanding of central Wisconsin growing conditions and the plants that thrive. Shelly went on to study landscaping and design. In 2005, she started Graziano Gardens LLC, a landscape design, installation and maintenance business focusing primarily on specialty design and maintenance of gardens.
Shelly opened a retail location in 2014. With the support of her husband Scott and her boys, Sam and Jon, she took her passion to a new level, sharing gardening and plant knowledge with those who also love the experience.
The country setting includes several demonstration gardens that continue to evolve. Graziano Garden Center is also the home for unique daylilies hybridized by the well-known Darrel Apps. Shelly hopes gardeners and daylily lovers will join her in ‘Sharing the Experience’ of gardening with a creative and artistic twist at the annual Daylily Dazzle event.
