Darrel Apps has been watching this sweet daylily for a couple years! We didn’t think we would have the honor of introducing this very collectable WHITE and BLACK daylily. The very wide eye zone truly reads as black– no color in the RHS color box is this black! It is not until you notice the raspberry feathering where the color bleeds into the white petals that you realize there might be some color lurking there! (We hesitated to register it as having white petals and sepals until we held a piece of white paper to them and the petals and sepals looked WHITER!) Appealing to the daylily connoisseurs everywhere, but hybridized for northern tier continental United States daylily fans; it has dormant foliage and rebloom! Dbl. fan. (Apps-D., Graziano)
